My Experience:
L'Oréal Paris Color Riche Collection Exclusive Pure Reds have been prepared according to the varying skin tones of L'Oréal Paris's beautiful brand ambassadors. The result is 'A matte red for every woman'. The collection was recently launched in Pakistan at a lavish event attended by creme de la creme of beauty and fashion industry. We now have five beautiful reds to choose from.

• Blake's Red is pure hollywood glam red. It is a blue based red that makes your teeth appear whiter. The color was developed for lighter skin tones but it works just as fine for my NC30.
• J Lo's Red is described as a ruby red. It is a deep dark red that gives a hint of orange. You can't go wrong with this color. It is perfect for our average Asian skin tone.
• Unlike Blake and J Lo, which are really deep dark reds, Liya is a bright scarlet red.
• Frieda's Red is described as amaranth red. It is the one I was most excited to try. I love reds with pink in it. Though this one is more like fuschia with a hint of red.
• Eva's Red is a brick red with a slight, almost unnoticeable, sheen to it. It is the perfect blend of red and brown and I absolutely love it. At first I thought it looked just like MAC Chilli but that is more of an orange-brown shade.

The lipsticks come in a matte black textured packaging. The name of each starlet is printed in gold on the packaging of their respective lipstick. I just don't like the gold band in the middle. Its very flashy and in your face kind of shiny.
The texture of the lipsticks is more towards semi-matte. Eva has the creamiest texture while J Lo has the most matte texture out of the five. Make sure that your lips are exfoliated before application because these lipsticks can be a little unforgiving on dry, chapped lips. The lipsticks contain jojoba oil and mineral pigments which help keep the lips hydrated for about 4 to 5 hours. After that they start to feel slightly dry. On one side the semi-matte finish is creamy and hydrating but that also means it transfers a lot.
The color payoff of all lipsticks is amazing and it stays vibrant for an average of 4 to 6 hours. After that it settles into a stain like finish that lasts for another hour or so. Eva and Frieda fade away relatively sooner while J Lo and Blake last the longest. Another thing I noticed is that the lipsticks don't fade evenly. That however can be fixed by blotting the first layer of lipstick and then applying the second.
I know a lot of you will be asking me if the lipsticks are a dupe for MAC this or MAC that so I need to clarify that I have never used any MAC red and I can not make a comparison. Also I can not answer any questions about which one of these is my favourite because honestly all of these are equally beautiful and I can not pick one.
To sum it up, all I can say is that you need to pick up atleast one of these for yourself. The lipsticks may be pricey but texture is the best out of all the mattes I have tried.
