These beauty trends showed up at the Oscar Red Carpet!

This year, it was all about nude faces. The focus was on the skin with minimal use of makeup. The 'dewy look' and 'buffed faces' were rampant on the red carpet. Mostly nudes were the favored shades of lips, along with a fervent enthusiasm for bright red pouts. Focus was on the eyes; the newest take was to the use of kohl or liner which was then smoked out for more blended looks.

Emma stone
With her brown lips and flushed cheeks and barely there liner, Emma keeps her look muted and let her dress do all the talking!

Scarlet Johansson
Scarlet goes for pale lips with muted pink and brown shimmer eyeshadows on the eye. The rest of the face is bare with the focus being on a fresh, dewy look.

Kristen Dunst
Kristen goes for kohl rimmed eyes, smudged slightly for drama and rose colored lips.

Brie Larson
Brie's orange-red lips scream drama and help to draw focus to her otherwise understated look.

Nicole Kidman
Nicole keep it fresh and simple in a nude yet dewy face and pops her muted ensemble with bright red lips.

Charlize Theron
Charlize keeps it regal and fresh in nude lips and a subtle smokey eye.

Alicia Vikander
Alicia goes for a sun kissed look with a minimal eyeliner and cool toned brown lips.

Emma Roberts
Emma oozes pure Hollywood glam in bright red lips and vintage waves

Taraji Phenson
Taraji has lined her eyes in a pale blue liner and smoked it out with a brown shadow. On her lips he wears a barely there formula. The voluminous, messy bob helps to keep her look together.

Lily Collins
The negative space eyeliner is a statement in itself and Lily's cherry lips help to add more drama to it.
