W7's Neon Nights Electric Eye Shadow Palette's colours are a makeup junkie's dream come true but do they deliver? Read review now :)
W7's Neon Nights eyeshadow palette contains 12 powdered neon eye shadow shades. The palette contains a range of eccentric colours ranging from bright pink to neon green.
The colours provide excellent coverage as they are highly pigmented and provide little fallout. Apply with or without a primer - these eyeshadows are not prone to creasing.
Neon Nights comes in a sturdy, plastic casing to prevent damage when in your make-up bag or luggage.
The palette provides the shades you need for that ideal summer festival look everyone is looking for.
W7 tip: Using the brush provided, add the silver colour to your lids to add some sparkle to your eye make-up.

My Experience:
The W7 Neon Nights Electric Eye Colour Palette comes in a clear plastic palette with a double sided applicator. It contains 12 bright colors best for the spring/summer time. The palette includes eye shadows from mattes to frosted and metallic as well. The texture of the shadows is generally soft and dry, thus prone to pan fallout. Since the shadows are mostly dry and powdery, I find it hard to work with them but then brands do mostly have problems creating matte eye shadows especially troublesome shades like bright yellow. Thus to make the best of these shadows, I would highly recommend the use of an eye shadow primer or base as the shadows have difficulty clinging to bare skin.
Down below I have discussed each shade individually for you and have numbered them in accordance with their order in the palette:
1. It is a bright yellow with a warm undertone and a matte finish. This shadow was so hard, it would not get on the brush no matter how hard I pressed and so the color was barely visible upon application.
2. It is a silver shimmery eye shadow. The texture is soft but the eye shadow does not crumble. The pigmentation is poor for a metallic eye shadow. It does not build without a primer.W7 Neon Nights Electric Eye Colour Palette Swatches from Left to Right:1,2,3,4,5,6 |
3. A brightened blue with specs of blue shimmer. This one is a matte eye shadow. The texture is dry and powdery. Pigmentation is decent but can be built considerably.
4. This one is a tangerine with a smattering of silver glitter to it. The texture is dry but the color pay off is one of the best. It applies, however to give a more corally hint of colour.
5. I would describe it as a candy pink with a violet undertone and silver shimmer. The texture is dry and the eye shadow crumbled when I rubbed too hard.
6. Next up is a frosted dark green eye shadow. I think there is a manufacturing fault with the 1 and 6 in my palette. Both of them are like rocks; you just can't get any thing on your brush no matter how hard you try. The pigmentation of this shadow was extremely poor.

8. Cobalt blue with a hint of purple and silver shimmer over a matte finish, this eye shadow was soft, powdery with a decent pigmentation that could be built.
9. This one is a frosted violet eye shadow with blue shimmer. The texture was soft and the pigmentation decent. This one clung to bare skin easily and was easy to build. The shimmer was not visible after application.
10. Another frosted eye shadow, with purple color and blue undertone. It was soft with a decent buildable pigmentation. The shimmery undertone wasn't noticeable after application.
11. A subtle minty green shadow with a light pigmentation and soft texture.
12. The last one is a chartreuse with a light pigmentation and soft texture.
Pros:
- A myriad of colors to work with.
- Decent lasting power.
- Not very expensive.
- Eye shadows do not easily cling to bare skin.
- Average color pigmentation.
- Some of the eye shadows, are very hard, i.e. the yellow, and not very easy to apply.
My Rating: 3.8/5
Lots of Love,
Maria :)

The shades look beautiful, the quality isn't impressive though. Nice review!
ReplyDeletewww.gulezehrasblog.blogspot.com
The shades are definitely beautiful but like you said, the quality is a bit disappointing.
DeleteThe shades are absolutely gorgeous. However I think I will skip these because of the texture and overall performance. There are better options available in market in same price range. Nice review
ReplyDeleteThe texture is definitely hard and difficult o work with :)
DeleteGood review, am male but will share for my female friends. Awesome.

Thank you for stopping by Danjuma :)
DeleteThe colors are really beautiful but it is disappointing that they did not give good payoff. Have u tried using them as eye liners? I think that is a good option to use bright colors in the palette.
ReplyDeleteActually I have used them as eyeliners. I used Nyx's eye color pencil in Milk as base and then topped it offed with the shade 5 in the Palette along with some black eyeliner and it was just phenomenal<3
DeleteColours are very pretty and perfect for any MUA to create spring/summer editorial looks. Other than that, it is just a wastage of money. Loved your honest review :)

The colors are just very powerful, except that they fail to deliver upto the mark and no one would want to spend 1700+ on that.
DeleteAwesome colours and they look super pigmented I kind of want this pallette now
ReplyDeleteThe colors are good but they need a primer or a white base to go underneath them to work to heir optimum position.
Delete*their
DeleteThe price sounds reasonable so definitely a something to consider purchasing.
ReplyDeleteThe price is reasonable so it's worth the risk :)
DeleteEye catching colors This palette is attractive.
ReplyDeleteThey really pop out :)

ReplyDeleteThey really pop out :)
DeleteThe shades seem super funky however I'm kind of afraid to try them out on my eye as they'll look too wild. Can you do a makeup look with this palette?
ReplyDeleteWww.themahnoorblog.blogspot.com
It is okay to go daring at times :) You could give it a try :)
DeleteI wonder how this colors would look on a dark skinned person. I love them ❤️
ReplyDeleteThey will complement that person well :)
DeleteWOW!! These look so good!! I'm not actually of a makeup fan, but your post is making me to try this one out!! :)

DeleteWow totally my kind of palette, sucks that the pigmentation was not up to par though :(
ReplyDeleteUrban Decay has a Neon Palette with the same colors. You could try that.
DeleteOk so, I would need twice the courage I have right now to wear such bold colors ever in my life :D I love seeing bright eye makeup looks on others though
