If you love peach blushes like I do, this palette here is a slice of heaven!!
The Brand Claims:
Our ULTRA Blush & Contour palette is perfect for the professional application desired by all of us. Perfect for highlighting and contouring too.
Professional and highly pigmented, yet easy to blend, these contain 8 shades consisting of shimmer and matte blushers, merged baked blusher, and merged baked highlighter powder. The ULTIMATE blush palette offering you 8 shades in 1 to suit any occasion!
My Experience:
The sturdy black palette comes encased in a matte black cardboard box. The back of the box shows the colors within the palette. It doesn't reflect the actual colors but is close enough to give an idea of what is inside. The palette contains a huge mirror for easy application.
This palette was first introduced as a Blush & Contour Palette. Now it has been renamed to a Blush Palette only. And rightfully so, because none of the shades is even close to something that you can use for contouring. You do get a mix of 6 shimmer and matte blushes with a highlighter and a terracotta blush. Since these shades have not been named individually, I numbered them in the picture above for easy reference.
2,6 and 7 are matte blushes and have a smooth texture. 1, 3 and 5 are the shimmery ones and have visible golden glitter particles in them. The glitter is most pronounced in 5 where I can actually feel these particles when I touch my fingers to the blush. I did experience some fallout in the pan with the shimmery blushes. They also highlight my pores due to those glitter particles. The pigmentation of all these blushes ranges from good to amazing. Its best to start with a light hand and build the consistency as required.
The highlighter (No.4) reminded of Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights. They look almost alike in the pan but when you apply them side by side is that the difference becomes visible. No.4 has a bit more dull undertone compared to the rather pale one of Peach Lights and is slightly more pink than the latter (which has more silvery particles). Peach Lights, though, has a better pigmentation in my opinion.
Pros:
My Rating: 4.25/5

No.8 has been referred to as a blush by some and a highlighter by others. I think it can be used as both depending on your skin tone and your overall makeup look. Both of these, No.4 and No. 8, don't emphasize the pores. The lasting power of the palette is pretty amazing. The blushes and highlighter can last for up to 6 hours. Even though the pans are smaller than that of the individual blushes by Makeup Revolution, you still get generous amount of product.
My main concern regarding the product is that the four shades in the middle look very similar. Specially 2 and 3. Other than that, the palette lives up to my expectations from Makeup Revolution and is a must buy.Pros:
- 7 blushes and 1 highlighter in one palette with a variety of finishes.
- Good pigmentation.
- Lasts for up to 6 hours.
- Highlighter does not emphasize pores.
- Generous amount of product.
- Sturdy packaging.
- Comes with a mirror.
- Inexpensive.
- The glitter in shimmery blushes highlights pores.
- Fallout in the pan.
- Some colors appear similar.
My Rating: 4.25/5
