Essence Cosmetics Silky Touch Blush comes in a variety of different shades. I tried it in the shade 90-Summer Dreaming. It is one of the recently launched shades.
The Silky Touch blush comes in Essence Cosmetics trademark transparent plastic packaging. 90-Summer Dreaming is a pale, cool toned peachy color with a smattering of silver shimmer. The texture of the blush is very soft and has a satin finish. This soft texture results in major fallout.
Upon a single application, the blush is barely visible on my caramel complexion. I have to built it up several times to get a visible color. The shimmer however, is very noticeable on my face. The color stays for 2 to 4 hours on me depending on how intense I apply it. This particular shade, although stunning, will better complement very fair skin tones I believe.
Pros:
- A variety of shades to choose from.
- Travel friendly packaging.
- Easy to apply and blend.
- Gives a natural looking flush to skin.
- Can make a good blush topper.
- Pan fallout.
- Color shows best on fair skin tones only.
- Blush stayed on barely for 2 hours.
My Rating: 3.5/5
