We are blush hoarders but is the Stage Line Velvet Blush Pigment in CP to stay in our stash? Find out here.
The Brand Claims:
Long lasting blusher with treated pigments for strong color and even finish. Naturally corrects skin imperfections. Non-dehydrating- does not absorb the skin's natural moisture due to silicone coated powder particles. Silicone naturally has reflective properties, offering protection from the sun.
My Experience:
Stage Line Velvet Blush Treated Pigments come in a reflective silver packaging with a built-in mirror and an applicator as well. There are 9 variants to choose from, namely CA, CF, CP, CC, CN, CM, CK, CS and CR.
I tried Stage Line's Velvet Blush Treated Pigments in the shade CP. It appears to be a dusty rose with silver sheen / micro-shimmer. The sheen/shimmer is so finely milled that it gives a very natural youthful glow. The texture is very soft, the blush easy to apply and blend. Despite the soft texture of the blush, there was hardly any fallout in the pan.
The pigmentation of the blush is decent upon a single application and leaves a very natural looking pink flush on my skin. The pigmentation can be built up to give a pop of color.
The lasting power of the blush is impressive with about 5 to 6 hours of wear time. The silicone in it is a welcome addition that keeps the face oil free in addition to offering protection from sun.
The applicator that comes with the blush is the only thing I don't like about it. It is very tiny and has very hard bristles. I would never want to use it on my face. With the price tag of the blush I would have expected a decent alternative.
To sum it up, Stageline Velvet Blush Treated Pigment in CP has won us over with its pigmentation, staying power and UV protection, so much so that we can't wait to try other shades in the range.
