It is the glass skin which describes a crystal clear skin that is poreless and dewy, and essentially looks perfect. This Korean borne makeup trend became popular during the last month and has taken Instagram by storm since then. It really is about taking exceptional care of your skin and obviously overhauling your skin care routine. Many makeup artists and fanatic's tried this trend that has become all the rage these days. Ellie Choi, an LA based makeup artist, famous for her Glassy skin took to her account to reveal the steps to this amazing skin. She has a combination skin type.
Her routine starts off by cleansing the skin with Neutrogena's Cleansing Wipes. Now where many of us stop, Choi takes further steps to ensure, every bit of makeup residue is removed from her skin. She further follows with Cetaphil's Daily Facial Cleanser and later with Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser. Then she also tones her skin with a Clinique's Skin Clarifying Lotion.
She futher applies a 'decent sized' amount of moisturizer to lock in the hydration. Her favorites for this are Cetaphil's Moisturizing Cream and Wonjin Effect's Water Bomb Cream. After every few days, she Choi makes sure to exfoliate her skin with Skinfood's Black Sugar Strawberry Wash Off Mask. She believes it adds to her 'healthy, natural glow'. The mask helps to remove dead skin to allow the fresh, healthier skin to shine through. Once in a week, Choi also uses also uses a sheet mask from a Korean beauty brand, Innisfree. But no glowing healthy skin comes without healthy eating. Finally Choi recommends avoiding the use of greasy foods and endorses drinking lots of water everyday. Eat more fruits and vegetables, she says!

Now we don't know about you, but this super good looking skin has us wanting to overhaul our skincare regime. While this may take a lot of time and is a lot difficult that just falling straight in bed at night, the results seem worth the effort!
