These are the 100 chemicals you want to avoid in your makeup or skin care the next time you go shopping:

1. Acrylic acid: respiratory toxin for humans; causes asthma, severe skin burns, and allergic reaction in the skin or lungs.

2. Aluminium: strong human neuro-toxicant; causes irritation of eyes, skin, and lungs; endocrine disruptor; linked to Alzheimer’s disease and breast cancer.

3. Aluminium Chloride: nose and lung irritant; human endocrine disruptor linked to breast cancer and Alzheimer’s disease; aluminum compounds are neurotoxic to humans

4. Aluminium Hydrochloride: Associated with breast cancer and Alzheimer’s disease; aluminum compounds are neurotoxic to humans

5. Aluminium Oxide: A strong nose and lung irritant; can cause breast cancer and Alzheimer’s disease; aluminum compounds are neurotoxic to humans.

6. Ammonium Laureth Sulfate: causes skin irritation; water contaminant; may be contaminated with carcinogen 1,4-Dioxane
