Makeup Revolution Powder Blushes made it to our Best Budget Buy of 2014. Here is why:
The Brand Claims: Intense color for the cheeks for just £1 each. The color blends easily and creates a natural glow and will last all day.
My Experience:
Makeup Revolution Powder Blushes are available in 6 shades. The one I am reviewing today is called Sugar. It is a beautiful dusty pink that will suit a variety of skin tones.
It comes in a compact that isn't sturdy, but doesn't scream cheap either. The brand name is printed in rose gold on the transparent lid. The blush is decently pigmented and has a pretty good staying power. It won't last all day like Makeup Revolution claims but you are good to go for around 6 hours. What I loved most about the blush was its texture. It had a satiny feel to it and didn't feel powdery at all. But now that I have used up a lot of the product I feel that it has slightly roughened in the middle. It is not very noticeable though. The only thing I didn't like was the fallout in pan.
Normally, I am not a fan of pink blushes but this one stole my heart. It is a perfect buy if you want to just grow your collection or you have just started using makeup and want something in budget to experiment with different shades.
To sum it up, I think Makeup Revolution Powder Blushes are a must have and their performance rivals that of their many pricier counterparts available out there.
Pros:
My Rating: 4/5
