On 4:14 PM by TheSisters Go Shopping in Awards 6 comments
Getting awards makes blogging all the more fun. Another Award, another milestone. Recently we were nominated for The Versatile Blogger award by our dearest Bia of The Beauty Finds.
If you are nominated, you've been awarded the Versatile Blogger award. What you have to do is:
-Thank the person who gave you this award.(Thanks again Bia)
- Include a link to their blog.
- Nominate 15 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award.
- Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself.
My Nominees:
Sadia Malik
Shehrzad Dastaan
Ana Ahmed
Anna Kazi
Huda Lipstickholic
Faryal Pechuho & Maryam Amin
Maria Hussain
Areej Usman
Fatemah Sajwani
Numra Anis
Jadirah Sarmad
Kiran Ahmed
Jee Bee
Bakhtawar Tahir Sheikh
Samra BBlogger
Now on to the facts:
Hira Tabassum:
1. Shopping is more like a therapy to me. It uplifts my mood instantly when I am feeling down.
2. Though I am a beauty blogger I spend most of my money on clothes, shoes and bags.
3. Now this one is more of a confession but before makeup caught up to me I was one of the girls who thought makeup was a waste of time.
4. By nature I am really patient and friendly or at least I like to think so.
5. No matter how much I try, I have never been able to get over procrastinating. Yes, I am lazy as hell. No wonder I get scolded by my mom all the time.
6. I love reading novels. My favourite genre is mystery thriller though lately I have been hooked to medieval time romances. In last 4 to 5 days I have managed to read three novels by Julie Garwood even under my mom's watchful gaze.
7. I think I am cursed when it comes to cooking. Even if it is something as trivial as making an egg, I manage to do something wrong.
Maria Tabassum
1. Well to start off with my attributes, I am a very short tempered person. I am easily irritated and
often this lack of control has been exploited. Once I made a wager with my brother not to lose my temper the entire day and obviously I ended up losing my money.
2. On the brighter side I am a very hardworking person, a trait that has been instilled in me by mother. When I start something I see that it is both done well and in time, for which I owe my mother a lot.
3. When it comes to makeup, to every makeup lunatic I can be described as an illiterate person. As a new beauty blogger, I had very trifle knowledge regarding makeup brands and products though now the situation has considerably improved.
4. I don't strive well in pressure and when I can't cope with something I let it go. No matter how important it may have been to me initially.
5. When I go out shopping I don't buy anything unless it has been approved by my mother which is why whenever she is not around I buy almost everything I can lay my hands on.
6. I am immensely fond of urdu literature particularly poetry, ghazal to be exact. One of my favourite piece is by Amjad Islam:
Paer ko deemak lag jaye ya adam zaat ko gham
Dono hi ko amjad hamne bachte dekha kam
7. Finally writing essays on my self is something I haven't ever been fond of, so nostalgia was not the feeling coursing through me when Bia gave us this award. I just hope I have fulfilled the task to its best.
Again we would like to thank our readers for bearing with us and Bia for thinking us worthy of this award.
Love,
Hira & Maria.
