Fair & Lovely recently launched their BB Cream in Pakistan. Find out now if it is worth trying or not:
The Brand Claims:
- Gives you a matte makeup look with a non oily feel.
- Provides an instant fair look.
- Covers dark spots and blemishes.
My Experience:
The Fair and Lovely BB cream comes in a long slim tube with a screw cap. It is available in a single shade and comes in two sizes: 18g and 40g. It has a light to medium shade with an olive undertone.
One negative point about this formula is that it sits on the skin and feels heavy which makes it uncomfortable if you wear it for long hours.
Also, if you apply too many layers then it may look patchy. It keeps my combination skin matte for upto 3 hours and this time can be stretched if set with powder.
Since it has a light coverage, you may need a concealer underneath to cover marks and blemishes. While the olive undertone, works well with most Asian tones, but it can still be a problem for darker skin tones.
Overall. the Fair & Lovely BB cream is a decent buy and works well at a pocket friendly price.
Pros:
- Pocket Friendly.
- Evens out skin complexion and hides mild imperfections.
- Keeps matte for up to 3 hours.
- Pocket friendly.
- Easily available.
- Available in only one shade.
- Does not suit dry skin.
- Can give breakouts to very oily skin.
Price & Availability: The 18g pack of Fair & Lovely BB cream is for PKR 135 and the 40g pack is for PKR 300. You can buy it from any supermarket or store near by you. For details visit Fair & Lovely Pakistan's Facebook page
My Rating: 3.75/5
