To the long procrastinated reviews that have been finally published!!, here is our take on the Masarrat Misbah Makeup Lip Gloss in Full Blossom.
The Brand Claims:
Delivering deep shine, this creamy lip gloss in fun, fashionable shades provides intense luster with hydrating benefits.Masarrat Misbah Makeup Lip Gloss in Full Blossom |

My Experience:
Masarrat Misbah Makeup Lip Glosses come in a matte black cardboard packaging. The lip gloss itself is contained in a transparent plastic container with a matte black cap and a doe foot applicator. The color and name of the respective variant is visible on top of the cardboard packaging and at the bottom of the plastic container as well.
The glosses are available in 3 different shades - Dahlia, Full Blossom and Tango. I tried it in the variant Full Blossom.

Full Blossom is pale pink in color with a coral undertone to it.

The shade is equally flattering on all skin types. The lip gloss has a strange plastic like scent to it that can be associated with children's play dough. That is because no artificial scent has been added to the product and the ingredients used have a naturally unpleasant scent that seeps through. Thankfully though, the smell does not linger.
The formula is not over excessively shiny and so can be a favorable option for the faint of heart. The color payoff is light to medium. The consistency is creamy, almost tacky that clings to the lips stubbornly. It is supposed to improve the longevity of the lip gloss though, unfortunately, I don't see it happening here. It does not last for more than 2 hours on me.
Another thing worth mentioning here is that after some wear time, the pigments in the lip gloss tend to gather in the center of my lips, leaving the rim unsightly bare. I face a similar problem with my Misslyn Lipstick in 178- Hot Pink but not with any other lip glosses I own. This can however, be owed to the creamy formula of the products that causes the pigment to slide off edge and settle into the middle.
To sum it all up, Masarrat Misbah Makeup's Lip Glosses have not lived upto my expectations. The formula is painfully adhesive, it barely stays for 2 hours and the pigment does not distribute evenly on my lips. With so many cheaper and better quality lip glosses available in the market, these lip glosses are and will not be my first choice unless Masarrat Misbah gives them the much needed upgrade.

- Flatters all skin tones.
- It does not budge after application.
Cons:
- Lack of diversity in shades.
- The packaging is flimsy.
- The scent is not pleasing.
- It is very sticky in consistency.
- Disappointing longevity of 2 hours only.
- The pigment in the lip gloss settles in the center of lips.

The color is definitely cute :) Generally, most of the MM products have a flimsy packaging :( Thank you for stopping by <3

DeleteThanks for telling I was going to try liquid lipstick
ReplyDeleteLove the color :)
ReplyDeleteOh I had very high hopes for MM cosmetics. But feels like they need to fix things quickly. They came out with big publicity and now for most of girls the products are not living up to the expectation. Too bad.
ReplyDeleteAgree to all the points maria! I have this in Dhalia and I am not much of a fan. But I guess these were made just to top off various lip colors. Great and honest review.
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of pigments in lip gloss. Shade is pretty but for price there are better options available.
ReplyDeleteExcept for the pretty color it has a lot of cons. The first non impressive by MM makeup i guess.
