THE BODY SHOP PAKISTAN OPENS A NEW STORE, LAUNCHES NEW PERFUME RANGE WITH MAYA ALI! ~ The Sisters Go Shopping

A new concept store and an exotic perfume range!

On 3 December, The Body Shop celebrated the launch of their Pulse Store in The Emporium Mall, Lahore that was attended by socialites

Concept behind the Pulse Store

Pulse” is a new way of expressing just what makes The Body Shop different: “Beauty with Heart”.

" ENRICH NOT EXPLOIT" The emotional connection with customers is a major focus of this new brand platform. “Pulse” is based on the powerful idea of “story selling”.

Everything stems from a central table, around which customers are invited to discover the innovations, and new launches, encouraged to try them, along with expert advice and to learn about the story behind ingredients from the four corners of the world.

“Values” areas immerse the visitor in The Body Shop’s commitments and news: one wall shows the brand’s partnerships with local producers as part of its pioneering Community Fair Trade programme; another wall sets out the store team’s actions in the community. Customers are particular about recycling, fair trade and how TBS products affect the environment.

A Skincare Bar: It helps to reinforce The Body Shop's position as a credible skincare consultant. It allows Body Shop customers to receive personalized skincare advice.

At the launch ceremony, The Body Shop also launched their perfume range- The Elixirs of Nature. Elixir of Nature consists of five new exotic fragrances. Truly out of this world, these five immersive new eau de parfums are authentic interpretations of some of the planet’s most precious natural scents. Aromas that without protection, might disappear from the world altogether. All these fragrances uses headspace technology to avoid harming the rare plant.

1. ELIXIRS OF NATURE NIGRITELLA EAU DE PARFUM

"Nigritella is luxuriant floral fusion of Red Vanilla Orchid, enhanced with a hint of tuberose and vanilla for fiery sensuality. The fragrance instantly transports you high in the Swiss Alps where this plant blooms. The profusion of hot floral exhalations, nectar and pollen makes for an opulent oriental fragrance that seduces with every breath."

2. ELIXIRS OF NATURE KAHAIA EAU DE PARFUM

A white floral bouquet starring the Kahaia flower, combined with an enticing bouquet of Jasmine Sambac and creamy Benzoin for a luminous touch. It is only during the nocturnal hours does the Kahaia bush emanate its most tranquil and luminous white flower scent."

3. ELIXIRS OF NATURE SWIETENIA EAU DE PARFUM

"The subtle floralcy of Mahogany flower combined with a sparkling breeze of orange flower and bigarade leaf result in a delicate freshness. This fragrance instantly transports you to the humid planes of Bangalore, South India, as its scent keeps you vibrant and crisp on a balmy evening."

4. ELIXIRS OF NATURE BOWHANTI EAU DE PARFUM

"A spicy woody scent, Bowhanti from the Wacapou tree is combined with a smoky blend of patchouli and incense. This is a thoroughly modern spice fest with all the mythical enigma and allure of resonant woods and piquant notes. This fragrance will transport you to the French Guianan tropical rainforest."

5. ELIXIRS OF NATURE WIDDRINGTONIA EAU DE PARFUM

"A woody aromatic mash up of Clanwilliam cedarwood, with a warm trail of sage and vetiver for an earthy sophistication. It takes you to the species’ spiritual home in South Africa’s Western Cape: a breath of fresh air, blown through wood, at the summit of the Cederberg Mountain range. Widdringtonia is unique and definitively edgy on a daring woman."

Upon the occasion, The Body Shop also revealed, celebrity Maya Ali as the first official brand activist of their new perfume range, Elixirs of nature. Maya attended the event in a custom made Maheen G. Taseer embellished velvet suit.

There, Maya Ali was of the view that the brand's philosophy of protecting nature,instead of exploiting it was what set The Body Shop apart from the rest of the world. She also tried the new range, Elixirs of Nature, and only had good words to say about the range. She finished her visit by checking out the products in the new store and even picked some for her.
