My Experience:
We were beyond excited when we found out that Luscious Cosmetics was launching their own Contour Kit. Their products are tailored to the needs of Asian skin so understandably our expectations were very high. You get four powders in the kit: a dark contour powder, a light contour powder, a highlighter and an illuminator.
In case you are not aware, contour powders are supposed to be cool toned to the point of being greyish brown, in order to create the illusion of a shadow. If they are warm, they can make your face look muddy and dirty. The shades in Luscious Contour Kit seem to work for me and I absolutely love the palette but they could be more cool toned. The light contour shade, specially, appears almost warm. I prefer using the dark powder for precise contour (using Sigma Beauty P84 Precision Brush) and the light powder to add warmth to my face (using any fluffy powder brush). The pigmentation, specially of the dark contour powder, is amazing. They are also very blendable which makes them easy to use.
The highlighter has to be my most stunning part of the palette. I personally am a sucker for gold highlighters and, oh well, who isn't? But personally I like my highlighters to be dramatic or atleast visible but sadly that doesn't happen with this one. Its so subtle that even the illuminator, which is supposed to provide a candlelight glow, is more visible than the highlighter. But the pigmentation is considerably improved if I apply the highlighter using my fingers. Also the texture is buttery soft so understandably there is some fallout in the pan.
The illuminator is essentially a white powder with a sheen to it. As I mentioned earlier, it is supposed to give a candlelight glow and that it does. It will be perfect for strobing if you are oily and don't want to use creams on your face. But just because the color is straight up white, it can give a whitish cast even if you have medium skin tone. In my opinion, the illuminator, though very pretty, does not work well with the whole palette and a banana shade would have been a better choice.
The palette itself is made of tin that has indentations on it. The overall look is very glamorous. It comes with an illustrated contour guide to help you make the best of your palette. A mirror or brush however, are not included in the kit so that doesn't make it very travel friendly.
Pros:

All in all, the Contour Kit is a great effort by Luscious Cosmetics. In essence, they have nailed the formula but need to work on the shades I hope they come out with more shades to suit a variety of skin tones.
Pros:
- The palette looks pretty.
- Comes with an illustrated guide.
- Contour, highlighter and illuminator all in a single palette.
- Contour powders are very pigmented and blendable.
- The highlighter is perfect for daily wear.
- Illuminator provides a beautiful candlelight glow.
- Lack of versatility in contour shades.
- The light contour shade appears warm.
- Illuminator can give a whitish cast to the skin.
- Highlighter is barely visible on skin.
