MUSLIM DESIGNER TAKES 'HALAL FASHION' TO NEW HEIGHTS!

Designer Anniesa Hassibuan has made us proud!

Indonesian based designer showcased her latest collection at the ongoing New York Fashion Week!
But unlike, her colleague designers, she didn't take precedent from the popular Western fashion world and dared to add her own philosophy of life into her designs.
Anniesa, who is a Muslim, decided fashion does not have to be revealing to make waves.
And waves her collection did make!
All her models walked the ramp in full body covering designs with complimentary head scarfs made in  chiffon or satin.

The collection showcased pleated, box pleated or bell skirts and straight cut pants.

With straight cut or variable, mostly brocade jackets.

The intricate, sequin and embroidered details were a sight to behold!

The show stopper dress was undoubtedly the best of all! A quintessential golden outfit laden with intricate embellishments. You  will fall in love <3

The designer, who wore  her own collection, received a standing ovation for her work. 

The audience was spell bound, almost intrigued, impressed by the use of Hijab's so much so that they voiced their interest to wear the Muslim accessory!

Way to go Anneisa! We are proud!!
