Odho Cosmetics Cheek Blushon comes in same packaging as their Compact Face Powder. Instead of the sponge though it contains a brush whose bristles are way too hard. I would suggest not to use it.
The blush comes in 10 shades with diverse color options. The one I got is called Dove. Its a beige heavily loaded with gold glitter. The glitter particles are very much visible and not at all finely milled.
Its not a color I would have expected as a blush specially from a brand catering to Pakistani skin tones. It will hardly show up people even with very fair skin tone. Still I like it a lot. Know why? Because it makes a beautiful highlighter. Ever since I first laid eyes on it, I knew I had found me one of the least pricey and easily available highlighters out there. But there is a catch.
Since the blush is heavily loaded with big glitter particles I have to keep a light hand while application. It is not some thing you can easily use in daily routine. I mostly use it on special occasions when I have loads of makeup on so that it doesn't stand out much and make my face look like a glitter bomb exploded nearby. Also because of its glitter, it makes my pores appear very big. Other than that it works pretty fine. Also has a pretty decent wear time of about 3 to 4 hours. Pigmentation is not extra-ordinary but its also not bad.
I would suggest Odho Cosmetics to work on this blush a bit and introduce it as a highlighter for dusky beauties.
Pros:
- Decent pigmentation
- Stays for up to 4 hours.
- Makes a good highlighter for warm skin tones.
- Compact comes with a brush and mirror for easy on the go application.
- Can be used over matte blushes for a glowy look.
- Inexpensive.
- Not very good as a blush.
- Enhances pore visibility.
- Glitter particles not finely milled.
Price & Availability: Odho Cosmetics Cheek Blushon costs somewhere around PKR 300 (Approx. $3). Click here for a detailed list of stores that house Odho Cosmetics. Visit Odho Cosmetics facebook page for more information.
