Just the product you need for a healthy glowing skin this summer.
The Brand Claims:
A luxurious hand blended silky powder, that glides over skin to whiten and brighten the complexion instantly.
How does it work?
Coconut milk contains natural silicones to create a very superior skin moisturiser. Combined with potato starch, which is a substantial source of Vitamin C, this product provides an amazingly natural bleaching effect. Honey acts as a natural humectant, attracting moisture to leave skin smooth and glowing.
How To Use:
Pour onto wet hands, rub palms together to create a smooth paste, gently massage onto skin for 20 seconds and rinse off with cold water to reveal a radiant complexion. Use twice a day for optimum results.
Ingredients:
Rice Powder, coconut Milk Powder, Milk Powder, Honey Powder, Potato Starch.
My Experience:
Hello Glow Whitening Plus Facial Polish comes in a transparent plastic bottle containing 50mg of product. The packaging is travel friendly but not very practical in use as you could dump out too much product. The cap screws shut firmly to provide protection against environmental aggressors as prolonged exposure to air and water can contaminate the product.
I believe the main ingredient in the polish is rice powder because that is what the texture of it's fine granules feels like.
The polish has a very strong scent with underlying notes of coconut. While scents in skincare products are mostly a miss for me, I have grown used to this particular one. Despite being really strong, the scent does not linger after application.
It hardly ever happens that a skincare product gives instant results but with Hello Glow Whitening Plus Facial Polish, you notice a difference instantly. Since my skin is really dull, I can not get over the fact that it makes my face radiant and bright. Even though my skin is combination, it gets dry during the colder months. During that time I noticed that my skin would get really tight and dry after using the polish. To combat that I added one or two drops of olive oil into the polish and water paste. This helped with the dryness and my skin looked even more radiant than it usually does after using the product. Using it this way, I didn't even need to moisturise after polishing. The product also helped with breakouts by drying them out faster.
The recommended use is twice a day but I think that could get harsh on the skin so as if now I use the polish three to four times a week only. As the weather gets warmer, I will start using it daily to clean of all the grime that gets into the pores.
For more evident results, I sometimes make a paste and leave it on my skin for a few minutes to dry. Then I massage it on the face for a few seconds and rinse it off like I usually would. Another way I use it is with Hello Glow Moonlight Drops. A detailed review on that is coming up soon.
