Given my love for nail colors, I was surprised that I did not have any Essence nail color in my stash because now that I have tried one, it is instant love.
The Brand Claims: Colour explosion! The huge colour & go range has the beloved gel-shine finish with a highly intensive shine and an extremely short drying time for perfectly polished nails in a flash. The patented quick & easy brush is particularly flat for an even easier application. The 8ml bottle has a cool essence design – with the usual colour-coded cap in the corresponding nail polish colour.
My Experience:
The color I got to try is called Juicy Love. It is a red but appears closer to fuchsia on first application. It takes 2 to 3 coats for the true color to show up. This is not much of a bother as the first coat takes less than a minute to dry and the later ones a bit longer. The applicator itself is pretty wide and covers the whole nail in less swipes.
The staying power of the nail colors does not matter to me because I believe it depends entirely on the base coat and top coat you are wearing and the frequency of your contact with water. Still, Essense Colour & Go's staying power is very amazing, about 5 days without any top or base coat. One thing that I noticed was that instead of the regular 11ml, Colour & Go carries only 8ml of the product.
All in all, Essence Colour & Go has made it to my favorites and I will definitely be buying more of Essence's nail colors.
Pros:
My Rating: 4.5/5

Pros:
- Each coat dries fairly quick.
- Wide and sturdy applicator.
- Doesn't chip for almost 5 days even without a base coat and a top coat.
- Wide array of colors and finishes.
- Takes multiple coats for the true color to show up.
- Contains 8ml of product rather than the regular 11ml.
My Rating: 4.5/5
