Odho Cosmetics Compact Face Powder comes in 8 shades. The shade I got is named Walnut and is a bit darker than my NC35.
The packaging appears a lot like MAC's Sharon Osbourne Collection compacts (And this statement could probably get me killed by the hands of some serious MAC fanatic). The compact opens from both top and bottom. Top part contains the product and bottom houses a sponge and a mirror. The compact is practical enough to carry around but its not very sturdy so I would advise handling it with care.
This product confused me. I thought it was used as a setting powder but the sponge given is like one used for applying foundation so I guess it can work both ways.
The product has a satiny feel to it and does not feel powdery at all. It provides light coverage whether used with a dry sponge or a wet one and does not enhance dry patches. Used as a setting powder, it keeps oil at bay for slightly more than 2 hours only. This time however, is slightly improved if the product is used with a wet sponge.
To sum it up, I do not think the product is much good as a setting powder or foundation but with its affordable price tag it could be a very good locally available option if you need something for contouring. Which is what I mostly use it for.
- Product has a satiny feel to it.
- Does not enhance dry patches.
- Works well for contouring.
- Compact contains mirror and sponge for easy on-the-go application.
- Affordable.
- Keeps oil at bay for slightly more than two hours only.
- Coverage is very light.
- Compact is not sturdy.
My Rating: 3/5
