My Experience:
I ordered this blush some time back from just4girls.pk (read haul post) and when I received it, my first thought was its tiny. Even though it looks small, I think the blush will last quite some time.
Barely two inches tall the blush looks like a miniature of foundation sticks. You need to twist the bottom part to bring out the blush. The twist up packaging makes it easier to use and less messy than regular cream blushes. Specially if you are on-the-go.I ordered this blush some time back from just4girls.pk (read haul post) and when I received it, my first thought was its tiny. Even though it looks small, I think the blush will last quite some time.
Application is a bit tricky and I prefer to use my ever trusted fingers. I just dab the blush on my cheeks a few times directly from the stick and then use my fingers in a stippling motion -short quick strokes- to spread it out. Make sure to use stippling motion rather than rubbing the blush in or all the product will end up on your fingers.
A common issue with cream blushes is their lack of staying power. At first it was also the issue with this blush and it lasted barely two hours on my combination skin. Then I started setting it with my Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder (read review here) and it stayed for upto 6 hours on me. Also I get no heavy feeling on my skin due to this blush. The blush does have a fruity scent but its not very over-powering.
Miss Peachy is a beautiful peach that gives a healthy glow with a flush of color. The color is a kind that in my opinion will flatter all kind of skin tones equally. Its a shade I absolutely adore and has been one of my most used blushes lately.
Between the beautiful glow and the staying power, Essence Blush Stick in Miss Peachy is worth a try.
Pros:
- Staying power is upto 6 hours.
- Easy to carry around and for on-the-go application.
- Suitable for those with combination skin.
- Provides a natural glow to cheeks.
- Easily available and reasonably priced.
- Might be a bit tricky to get the application right.
My Rating: 4.5/5

DeleteI just went to the essence display at my local Ulta, but did not see this cute little baby blush. I prefer cream blushes and need this shade. I believe you bought it from a website. Do you know if it's a limited edition or part of the regular product line?
ReplyDeleteYes Allison, I bought it from an online store of my Country. Its a part of Essence's regular product line :)
