REVLON GOLDEN AFFAIR SCULPTING BLUSH IN MERLOT AT MIDNIGHT- REVIEW & SWATCHES

This blush may be unconventional but it was a part of our Top 10 Beauty Favourites of 2014. Here's the reason why:

My Experience:
Merlot At Midnight was launched by Revlon a few years back as a limited edition product. Lucky for us, we were able to get our hands on it. Not only is the blush an amazing product application wise, it is also a beauty to look at.
It comes in a sturdy transparent plastic packaging. The actual blush is a daring plum with same color shimmery particles in it, that aren't noticeable after application. There is a beautiful pattern on top that has a slight dusting of gold glitter on it. The glitter is gone after two to three applications. The beige circles though have lasted very long.
When I first bought Revlon Sculpting Blush in Merlot At Midnight I wasn't expecting to love it so much. The color was very unconventional and out of my league. But on the very first application I realized how perfect it is for medium and dark skin tones. A must have blush, for winters specially. It blends beautifully so I am not in the constant fear of ending up with clown cheeks. The pigmentation is insane and keeping a light hand is crucial. I barely touch my brush to it and I get good color payoff. That combined with the generous size of the pan makes it a product that will last you a lifetime. There is absolutely zero fallout in the pan.
The stunning color, blendability, pigmentation and the lasting power of a good 6 plus hours make Revlon Golden Affair Sculpting Blush a wonder product. My only complain with the product is that the packaging tends to get scratched.

Pros:
  • Sturdy and appealing packaging
  • Insane pigmentation and amazing color payoff
  • Blends really well
  • Lasting power of six plus hours
  • Perfect color for medium and dark skin tones.
Cons:
  • Packaging tends to get scratched.
Price & Availability: I bought my Revlon Golden Affair Sculpting Blush in Merlot At Midnight for PKR 1250 . It was a limited addition blush so it is not available for sale anymore. You can still find it on some websites though.
My Rating: 5/5
