MISSLYN LIPSTICKS- REVIEW & SWATCHES

Misslyn Lipsticks have been part of our stash for over two months now. Here's why we love them.

The modern, smooth texture glides gently over the lips, leaving behind the feeling of weightlessness of a second skin. Hyaluronic acid moisturizes and helps to prevent the lips fro drying out. Free from mineral oil.

My Experience:
The two Misslyn Lipsticks we got to try are Spirit of Love and Hot Pink. They come in a plain black packaging with Misslyn imprinted in white on them. The packaging was fairly simple for a price of PKR 850 thus failed to impress me. But since a beauty product is not about its semblance, rather about what is inside of it so I can ignore that.
Coming to the colors, 178-Hot Pink is a very bright barbie pink with silver shimmery particles in it. 53-Spirit of Love is worse than a chameleon and appears different on different skin tones and also varies with respect to the clothes one is wearing. But dominantly it appears pink with a hint of coral and brown.

Hot Pink smells like jasmine while Spirit of Love has a sweet scent, just like Makeup Revolution Amazing Lipsticks. Both of these lipsticks are very creamy and hydrating. They glide easily on the lips without any tugging or pulling. You get a good color pay off that easily lasts for about 5 hours. I do find the lipsticks a bit over priced for the quality. I am not saying that the lipsticks aren't good. They do a fine job but it is possible to find cheaper alternatives.
Luscious Super Moisturizing Lipsticks are a very similar but cheaper alternative to these. The only difference is that Misslyn Lipsticks have a slightly longer staying power and Luscious Super Moisturizing Lipsticks are more moisturizing. So if you want longevity, go for Misslyn and if you want more hydration, go for Luscious.

 Pros: 
  • Wide range of colors to choose from.
  • Lipstick applies effortlessly.
  • Extremely moisturizing formula.
  • Good color payoff.
  • Lipstick can last for about 5 to 6 hours.
Cons:
  • May be pricey for some.
  • Plain packaging.

      Yes its a very pretty and safe shade that you can sport at multiple types of occasions. And yes both of them are extremely moisturizing :)

      Yes it is very good. When we first got it, we did not like it at all. We wore it 2 to 3 times before we fell in love with the color :)

    I actually prefer the sleek plain packaging and the fact that these are well pigmented.

    Both shades are beautiful. You are right i think they are expensive you can find a cheaper ones which are better in packaging and in formula.

    I tried Misslyn Apricot Nector and that disappointed me. Both shades you selected are beautiful. I found that Misslyn lipsticks are best for functions. In lights they look amazing.Read my review on "Fashion Blitz".

      The colors are really lovely. And yes they can be a bit expensive. We got them for 50% off from Daraz.pk sale so it wasn't that heavy on the pocket for us :)
